Well it's more a toolbar than a ribbon, it doesn't have all the ribbon functionallity (ribbon buttons, tabs...).

On the other hand a Ribbon would need more development effort and licensing stuff (you have to pass a process, standarization...) too much for a free open source project :).

Hope this toolbar can help a lot of people and avoid them to "reinvent the wheel" :-).
