I did it again!
Remember this post? Basically, I blogged about how I wanted a way to schedule recordings on my MCE over the web. About a week later, the MSN Remote Record Service beta began taking applications (and made it onto Neowin's front page).
Now look at my “Dear Microsoft” columns. Here I suggested some security updates for IE, and begged Microsoft to release an update SOON (as opposed to waiting until Longhorn - as was their stated plan until today). Here I suggested that MS AntiSpyware MUST be made freely available to Windows XP users. That was after several news organizations claimed that Microsoft was “considering a subscription-based model,” ie. charging a fee. I am very glad to see these announcements. And I can't wait to see what they deliver with IE 7.
This is a great day for Windows users everywhere.
And don't think for a second that I'm not already working on my next Dear Microsoft ;)
