Yesterday I wrote about the fact that slates should have built in stands.

I recently discovered that my M200 Convertible has no need for one. What’s amazing is how long it took me to figure this out.  For ages I have used my tablet in “laptop mode” and “tablet mode,” but never noticing the convenience that lies in between.

If I simply rotate the screen 180° without collapsing it down over the keyboard, I have an instant picture-frame stand setup.

I can hear tablet users everywhere laughing at me for never figuring this out (it was actually a friend that I live with who suggested it).  It also works nicely when using my tablet as a second monitor with MaxiVista.
