Dear Rockford,

I am trying to create a business object architecture, in which when if the User Layer, call a retrieve data method based on an ID, the BO layer should retrieve all the parent records data and also the child records, any additional data in a dataset. Then my UI layer will retrieve the xml from the from the dataset and bind it to the controls.

Do we have any standard practice of doing this? or do you know of any such architecture... Please do keep in mind that this has to be a generic architecture. We would ask the developer to set some properties and the base class of the BO retrieves the data and sends it to the UI layer.

Please let me know your thoughts. You can email me at sgupta@intrack.com. Thanks.
