Bonus Space and Dropbox Tips

Today I'm going to talk about Dropbox. Just to first let you know the link will go to http://db.tt/JDiRA3v to give you AND me a bonus 250MB storage. First Dropbox is a online synchronization/backup service. Dropbox provides you with a start of 2GB plus an extra 250MB if you use the links in this page. The first step you can use to get an extra 250MB after using my link is to completed the getting started tab after completing five out of the seven steps you get another 250MB to get your total up to 2.5GB. The next step is to invite your friends to Dropbox. Visit the referrals page and for every friend you invite and they accept you get a bonus 250MB and your friend gets a 250MB head start. You can do this for a max of 8GB more. Which means you can invite 36 people. As a tip you can use my link http://db.tt/JDiRA3v for you to get a bonus 250MB! So far if you did all the steps and signed up via a referral link and had referred one other person you should so far have 2.75GB. But what there's more! :) If you go to https://www.dropbox.com/free" and link your account with your social media accounts you can get 128MB per task completed. If you tweet about Dropbox you get another 128MB and the same if you follow @Dropbox on Twitter. You also get another 128MB if you link you Facebook account and you get another 128MB if you write why you like Dropbox. If you complete those steps you get a extra 640MB so you have a total of 3.4GB. As one final tip is for people with a .edu email address. Just visit https://dropbox.com/edu and type your .edu email address and everyone you invite and anyone you have ever invited gets 500MB instead of 250MB and your referral limit is goes up to 16GB. If you completed all of these steps and tips with the .edu email addres you can get 18.9GB of storage for free! If you don't have a .edu email address then you can get 10.9GB of storage. Last tip look out for compertitions for free Dropbox storage at the Dropbox Blog. As always if you have any other tips leave them as a comment and I might update this entry with them.

Well back on the subject I have recently joined Ubuntu-AU (Australia) LoCo team and it is great! Basilar it is a Ubuntu loco community group and just before the my first time being at a meeting I was emailing the admin and he said that there was a stop for a team reporter and I put my hand up and he said 'yes'. He was actually going to ask at the team meeting I would have said no way! But because I saw it before hand and I asked him I wanted to do it. If you live in Australia consider join Ubuntu-AU they also have a Launchpad team.
