April 2004 Entries

There are some new interviews of note conducted by Stephen Ibaraki - Stephen Walther and Steve Kovsky.

Steve (author of the wildly popular ASP.NET Unleashed) has got his new training site up and running!  http://www.superexperttraining.com
It is official, well, it has been for a couple weeks but you can all understand.  I have accepted a job at Microsoft and will be starting on May 3.  I am very excited because I will still be involved in the community and get to work with all the great people I have gotten to know at Que and Sams.  I will be working with community including Code Wise, INETA, authors and publishers.  Redmond here I come!
I am heading to Connections this weekend and will get to see many of my favorite people there!  Alex Homer, Rob Howard, Paul Litwin, Doug Seven, Steve Smith, Craig Utley, Stephen Walther, Bill Evjen, Robert Green, Scott Guthrie.  With that kind of all-star cast, it has to be a great show!  Plus, 80+ degrees cannot be a bad thing.
My nice friend Damon asked me if I wanted to see the Pixies in November in Chicago - of course I said - YES!  Can't wait, I am sure it will be excellent.
Anand posted a review on ASPAlliance. He isn't a fluff reviewer and I always appreciate his reviews.
A great excerpt about integrating Windows and Unix from Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Insider Solutions by Rand Morimoto is available in the April issue of Windows Server Systems Magazine and online here
