Part of my post-graduation lifestyle changes are the most relaxing ones - reading for pleasure rather than for graduate school, and playing games. CIO Magazine, by way of Slashdot, has an article on the state of IT projects. It compares the latest results of the famous/infamous Chaos Report from the Standish Group International with the results from the first report in 1994. In 1994 the report said that 31% of IT projects were outright, absolute failures and did not make it to completion. Only 16% of IT projects were "completely successful", delivering on-time, on-budget, and with no significant change in features. The latest 2007 reports says...
To promote the Simpson's Movie, there is a site that will read your uploaded photo and turn you into a Simpson's character. It has been two weeks since I blogged about becoming a better developer. Since then I have been playing with XNA, using George's excellent turorials from xnadevelopment.com. I am working on a game called Dennis the Ameoba. And, as said before, I am thinking about porting my Bloodletting game from the GWB game contest to XNA. I think that it would also be fun to port the Crusader game from Coding4Fun to XNA. One thing that I find irritating is that there are many XNA tutorials but not alot of places...
