Michael Singer at InformationWeek, posted on Slashdot, ponders why users and developers do not have a cult religious fervor (or even fanboys) for Microsoft and it's products.

Mac has one. Wired magazine even has a column called the Cult of Mac.

Singer's statement is ridiculous and, dare I say, blasphemous? What rock has he been living under? I don't think I need to state the obvious, but we at GeeksWithBlogs are a great example of zealous Microsoft developers and "fanboys". Microsoft's internal blogs on MSDN, Channel 9, and Hive.Net are all great examples. Visual Studio 2003 and DotNet (especially C#.Net, in my opinion) have revived the pro-Microsoft fervor and are simply great tools and a great platform (like I need to state the obvious).

I have worked with many people who make technology business decisions based on their anti-Microsoft bias. "Buy MySQL because its cheap!" "Use PHP over Dotnet because its not Microsoft!" Never mind the project delays because we can't get the damn things to work out of the box the first time and increases in development time++;

Geez!
