I made some progress on the game last night. Worked some more on screen design. My XML files are essentially done. Next comes the class creation for deck, player, opponent, etc. I usually do class UML diagrams in Visio at work (Pro version doesn't come with UML tools). No Visio at home, so that hampers me a little. I would draw it on paper but I have a bad track record of not being able to read my handwriting later.

Coding this week will be a challenge with the Lost season finale Weds night.

I am missing the daily updates by Chris and Jason, and the amusing trash talk between them.

I just want to say, regardless of who actually wins, I think it's incredibly cool that you got your daughter involved with your project. I hope to do the same once my kids are old enough (assuming they have the interest.)

lol, your kids are old enough now Chris if they can hold a pencil. just have them draw on paper and scan in the images. my son has had fun seeing his concepts appear in the game he "made".

but back to the topic, i agree with Chris. That was a great idea. I'm regretting that my own game idea didn't involve my kids a little more other than promising them they can help me play test it as i go along.

i'm really looking forward to seeing her artwork too Scott. Keep up the good work, sounds like you're making nice progress!
