Switched to blue
I have recently joined Microsoft US and have moved to US. So no more travelling often between India and Redmond. I haven't yet decided if I am going to move out of GWB. I think I would continue to occasionally post to my blog. ArunBala from our team has also started blogging, other than that few of the other guys on our team who are already on the web are Rupreet, Harshit, ArunPG. I am not sure we would probably like to setup a team blog or not or whether we would be blogging about the work we do ......

My Zen Xtra and Notmad...
This thanksgiving I happened to shop for a MP3 player. I got myself the Creative Zen Xtra (30GB) and a wireless Sennheiser headset. All they would need to do is tune in to my channel :)!! Ok that was the hardware, now talking about the software part. I accidently forgot my software kit and other stuff except the player at my friends ......

Long time no blog...

Its been a quite a while (few months) since I blogged. But well you got to do what you got to do!!

Had been reading this article and found how true it is when you play a role of an architect and get too much involved in satisfying what you want rather than what end users want.

Status Check ...
Just managed to force myself away from the work I have and thought I should blog my status. I believe more or less most of us can determine how much work and follow up they would require to do by the amount of email which lies unread in their relevant mailboxes. Here goes mine. HotMail: 32 Unread Mails + 4 in the Junk folder = 36 and growing (dont wonder how I can do it though I have a 2MB account. Every night select all delete is the mechanism unless I know which ones I need to read)My MVPs.org ......

Got suprised by OneNote!
I just now tried to cut paste a table from one of my emails onto an OneNote note item. It did not copy it properly (The table formatting was misssing). I got suprised and went on to check the rest of the formatting menu options and insert menu options and found that you cant insert a table. Now I am wondering why such a feature was not provided. look at me I use OneNote not only to maintain my notes but also to maintain texts from various places like my emails, snippets from documents etc..etc.. ......

A casestudy brought back few interesting memories ...
I was going through MS case studies when few funny memories hit me. The case study that made me travel back in time was this. The case study talks about how MSN India delivers online content across diverse mobile devices using the .NET fx - the solution for which was done by Vishwak Solutions. Vishwak Solutions is run by one of the Indian MSDN Regional Director Mr.Venkatrangan. I remember Venkat for his MSDN session(s) along with Daniel Ingitaraj couple of years ago when Daniel used to be one of ......
