This thanksgiving I happened to shop for a MP3 player. I got myself the Creative Zen Xtra (30GB) and a wireless Sennheiser headset. Being a music buff I am also planning to get one of these so that where ever there are people who share the same interests in music as I do we all can listen together. All they would need to do is tune in to my channel :)!!
Ok that was the hardware, now talking about the software part. I accidently forgot my software kit and other stuff except the player at my friends place (who also got the same player but is planning to get the cool noise cancelling bose headphones (I am all envious but then I can pick it up anytime from this friend of mine) Hence I downloaded the drivers which are available at the downloads site of creative and got some music transferred to my player and found it comfortable but I wanted MORE. After some good searching I found Notmad from RedChairSoftware and this tops it all. Creative should learn a bit here and there from these folks. This software put you on a high if you are as serious into music and have to get music moving in and out of your player. See the comparision for yourself.

~ Its not free but there is nothing like free lunch isit? [I am still evaluating and I think I may end up paying for it unless someone tells me of a better hopefully cheaper - read freeware that could pump in all the bells and whistles which notmad is providing]
~ I found that when you uninstall Notmad it does something which I am not sure of (I found that the driver's went for a toss and I had to reinstall the drivers after which things are back to normal).
