Got suprised by OneNote!

I just now tried to cut paste a table from one of my emails onto an OneNote note item. It did not copy it properly (The table formatting was misssing). I got suprised and went on to check the rest of the formatting menu options and insert menu options and found that you cant insert a table.

Now I am wondering why such a feature was not provided. look at me I use OneNote not only to maintain my notes but also to maintain texts from various places like my emails, snippets from documents etc..etc.. would it not be nice to have most of the formatting and editing features of Word into OneNote.
