Was reading the article by Dino Esposito on AdHoc firewalls for Web services on one of the sites which I visit when time permits where I came across XWall from ForumsSystem.
Using Microsoft ISA Server with Forum XWall™ enables a unique blend of Web services threat detection and real-time countermeasures capabilities:
• XML Intrusion Prevention
• Web Services Monitoring
• Data Integrity Enforcement
• Higher Performance and Lower TCO
ISA Server combined with Forum XWall™ can help firms secure XML based Web services allowing companies to:
• Check messages conformance against data types, structure and content
• Protect against unsecured namespaces, URI’s and external references
• Prevent attacks against WSDL ports, operations and messages
• Create rules based filters for XML 1.0, SOAP 1.1/1.2 and WSDL 1.1
• Support WS-I Basic Profile, XML Schema 1.0, DTD, XPath 1.0, SOAP with Attachments
Cool - I could not come up with anything similar to this.
UnCool - This is only available for ISA Server :(
