Ok, so for the last year and four month I've let this site lapse.... But now I'm ready to start fresh.
Big news - I'm leaving my current company
Magenic Technologies for a large financial services firm based in San Francisco...
Why? Well after 7 years it was time for a change. Magenic and I have been growing apart in our directions and as Principal Consultant there I felt really didn't have any space to grow without moving away from technology.... I've been contracting at this company for the last two and half years and I enjoy the projects and the people. I had been looking around, interviewing at a few places, when a position opened up here. I enquired about it and we went into discussions of salary and whatnot. It's a good deal for me and so I'm taking the plunge....
It'll be weird going from a small consulting company to a huge financial company, but I'm looking forward to the new challenges.
One resolve I have is to keep blogging, just for myself. We'll see how I progress...
