Welcome to Andy's Blog

Ok, big pressure now. I've got a forum to spill all my random thoughts, insightful notions, and technical mumbo-jumbo.... so what shall we talk about, hmmm?

First off who the heck am I?

Well, I'm not this guy, or this guy, or this guy. I'm this guy.....

Ok, gotcha with that last one then? Well, it seems my name is common enough that I blend in and Google has as hard time picking the real me out. If you search hard enough you can find a few links to old technical groups I've contributed random bits of info to, but for the most part, until now, I've kept a low net profile....

So, again, who am I?

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my wife, two young boys, two cats, and a small brown dog.
My wife owns her own interior design business and is currently the co-director of a regional mother's club. One of these days when I  build a web site for her business I'll link it here.

I currently am a Principal Consultant-Architect with Magenic Technologies where I develop custom solutions for clients using VS.NET and occasionally, Sharepoint 2003, BizTalk 2004 or other MS technologies....

While most of my work is not accessible to the public here's a site I did (with other Magenic consultants) that is public. I wrapped that project up several months ago, so don't blame me if the site is hosed now.... ;)

Didn't I go to High School/College with you? (you ask)
Could be, I went to Healdsburg High, class of 1986, San Francisco State University class of 1991 BA in Creative Writing.

Creative Writing? And now you're a tech guy?
Yup, life's funny that way. Perhaps I'll blog on that some day....

For a guy with a degree in writing you sure do make a lot of gramatical/spelling errors
Yo momma. Blogs are free thought, not disertations. If I'm lucky I run this through spell check before posting.... Anyway, I have a degree that says I can use creative license. Let's see yours. ;)

So what can we expect from your Blog?
Random thoughts, .NET technical info, cool shit I find on the web. Same stuff you find on everyone's blog, but mine will have my insightfulness and witty comments. Woo-Hoo!
