TV in the UK in 2008

The choices are getting very diverse...

1. Good old fashioned telly from an aerial

2. Freeview: the future of terrestrial television

3. BT Vision: Freeview + PVTV + download content

4. Sky: Digital television with pay for content and HD

5. Cable: Sky like but through wires!

6. BBC iPlayer, 4 on demand, ITV on the web - the big boys putting content on the web!

7. iTunes: UK and US shows available for download..

And now we have a few others coming:

1. BT Vision on XBOX

2. Play TV on the PS3

Of course it doesn't mean we have good TV!

Far from it in fact...at best it will be more ways to watch the same old crap or shows will get worse because they are spending their budget on bandwidth instead of making shows!!! Anything that BT get involved with is bound to be shite!

Sorry but not true. BT Vision is excellent and the choice means I don't have to watch crap!
