This is a good addition but why did I have to pay $20 for this and If you buy a new Itouch it comes with it at the same cost I paid for mine without it?

The January update is permanent. The annoying thing is that Apple have deliberately left a lot of software off the itouch and will no doubt temp every few weeks with yet more upgrade software. Before you know it you'll have probably forked out the equivalent of a new model in upgrades!

You have to go to itunes and it will say January software update. Click that and wait for it to load. Than follow the simple intructions

in order to upgrade your i-touch you need the new version of i tunes always upgrading an second how can i add the piano feature to mine or is it just for i-phone?????

i think that to add the iAno feature (piano) you need to jailbreak your ipod touch. although i'm not 100% sure

i am kinda new to whole itouch thing and i really dont know much about it i actually spent 3 or 4 hours on trying to jailbreak it lastnight but i was unsuccsessful and i while i was trying to jail break it i discovered it was a 1.1.4 itouch and later figured out that i couldnt jailbreak it which i am not sure iuf i can sooooo plzz...... fill me in on that and i would also appreciate some help if some could give me a site that a locked ipod might be able to get free songs or downloads or anything that u surf or mess around with on ur itouch but my main concern is ........................................................ that when i first got my itouch my mom bought it for me because she was moveing to calif. sooo when i got home i was aloud to spend 50$ on itunes off of my step dads credit card and i did but after a week or sooo i found some new songs i liked and i was going to download them sooo i went to itunes (on my itouch) and picked out a song i redeemed the code and it required the password from my step dads creditcard account which was deleted off itunes sooo now i am stuck with no itunes on my itouch if any1 can help me plz... do i would rather appreciate

Just bought the itouch 2.0 software. It encountered a "problem" during installation and said it would have to restore factory settings...it did this and then automatically installed version 2.0 during the same installation if that helps? Now its time to work out whats worth installing/buying and what isnt!

I have had my iTouch fopr about a month, and i want to get the 2.0 updates, with notes weather, maps, and stuff, but i dont really have an account and a credit card to use, i was thinking about jailbraking but i thought it may screw my iPod up or somethin so i didn't want to, but has anyboddy ever had a problem with jailbraking?
