What is UAC?
Windows Vista user account system has been built to automatically reduce the potential of security breeches. It does that by automatically enabling a feature called User Account Control (UAC). The UAC forces users that are part of the local administrators group to run like they were regular users with no administrative privileges.
Should I disable it?
in the normal use of Vista - No but as a developer then =Yes
How do I disable it? Open Control Panel. Select Admin Tools. Select System Config. Select Tools. Select Disable UAC.
Simple as that!
