Installing Visual Studio on Windows Vista

Just had an entertaining time trying to install Visual #Studio 2005 beta 2 onto Vista - you must install MSXML 6 before starting the process. Also you will get errors from Compact framework and other Mobile stuff.

Once up and running all is a lot of fun!

The only issues were with the compact framework and mobile items? How about VS.NET 2003, any issues there?

I am trying to install vs2005 pro on windows vista and it fails ... any suggestions
