In this Issue: Jonathan van de Veen, Michael Ceranski, nokola(2, 3), Tim Heuer, Gavin Wignall(2), and Jeff Prosise.

Shoutout:

Tim Heuer has a Quick FAQ on Visual Studio 2010 RC release (February 2010) and Silverlight development

From SilverlightCream.com:

Building an interactive spider in Silverlight
Jonathan van de Veen has a tutorial up at SilverlightShow showing how to create a Spider in Silverlight to load web pages and extract links ... lots of goodness in this post... grab the source, read the tutorial.
Recreating Frogger in Silverlight
Michael Ceranski has a nice tutorial up on creating Frogger in Silverlight ... my daughter will want to install Silverlight now :)
EasyPainter Source Pack1: Color Picker, RangeSlider, Small Expander, Fast Drop Shadow and more!
It's only been 3 days since I posted about nokola's EasyPainter app, so I was surprised to find he had 3 more posts up! This first one is a release of a controls pack as used in EasyPainter. Check out the demo, then check out the code!
Someone Said it Was Impossible: Hue Shift in Pixel Shader 2.0 (EasyPainter, Silverlight)
Holy crap is nokola's next one cool... optimized code for hue shifting in Pixel Shader... just run the demo on the page, and you'll see!
Simplex Noise (like Perlin Noise) in Pixel Shader 2.0 for Silverlight and WPF
nokola's latest is on noise ... no, not that static from the guy in the next cube... good noise. Noise has many uses in graphics... and nokola has a bunch of examples... grab the source.
Using Silverlight Media Framework for simple playback
Tim Heuer put up a good post about SMF -- Silverlight Media Framework for those that don't already know, plus he walks through getting it set up including documenting some missing stuff, and tacking on a wishlist... plus all his source.
Mixing it up! Using the InkPresenter with 3D Projection
As usual, Gavin Wignall has some fun stuff up to play with as much as learn from... this first one combines the Ink Presenter with 3D Projection and is a great demo with code, of course!
Silverlight Brush Effect – Paint Splatter
Gavin Wignall's next is a 'paint spatter' effect that really looks good. Boy, combine this with the work being done by nokola (see below)... of course Gavin has all the source!
Silverlight 4's New INavigationContentLoader Interface
Jeff Prosise's latest post is all about INavigationContentLoader, with a bare-bones example, and some good external links.

Stay in the 'Light!
