- Silverlight 3.0 LetItSnowBehavior
- Just in time for those August Doldrums (in Phoenix Arizona anyway), Fons Sonnemans produced a great 'Snow' Behavior I want to use this on everything until the weather cools off here :)
- Styling A ComboBox In Silverlight 3

- Business Apps Example for Silverlight 3 RTM and .NET RIA Services July Update: Part 22: Separate Solution Files
- Thank Goodness Brad Abrams only posted once while I was gone... I was concerned he blasted out one a day of these :) In this one he responds to a query from Shawn Wildermuth and describes how to build separate solutions for the client and server... and yes I know I'm still one behind :)
- Fluid Dynamics in Silverlight
- File this one in the Holy Crap category ... I was just seeing a black rectangle and hadn't read the article yet, but once I moved the mouse across the app I got stuck there for some minutes just playing. Rick Barraza produced a very cool effect with all this and has great links out to resources if you really want to dig this deep into it. Otherwise just bring it up and play :)
- How to index your Silverlight application in search engine
- Terence Tsang is setting off on an adventure of creating a new site that provides SEO goodness and is inviting us all along. This first post is the lead-in to the forthcoming articles.
- Fault support in Silverlight 3
- I found this by way of the Silverlight Web Services Team blog, and is a post by Carlos Figueira that shows how adding 1 line of code will allow the Silverlight 3 app to receive faults without a bunch of cumbersome code.
- Navigation Transitions with WriteableBitmap
- Joel Neubeck's page transition involves capturing the pages and animating the images he produces with WriteableBitmap ... dang... where do these guys get these ideas :) ... looks great, Joel!
- PlaneProjection for 3D effects. Part III : carousels
- Wow... check out the carousels Gerard Leblanc has done this time... I like the speed and direction control on the second and the last one is just very clean-looking... great stuff!
- Adding a Rotating Button to the Swivel Behavior Demo
- John Papa added onto his swivel from last week and has a button that not only initiates it but spins around with the panel -- and yes it spins back the other way when it returns... pretty cool :)
- From DB to DataGrid – So Many Choices!
- Jesse Liberty discusses the various methods available to retrieve our data and get it into our app. He quickly settles on 3 and discusses 2 pushing Entity Frameworks to another post of it's own.
