Shoutout:

Rob Eisenberg has announced that he released Caliburn v1 Release Candidate... this is definitely worth a look, he's been fine tuning it for a while.

Michael S. Scherotter has announced the New York Times Silverlight Kit version 1.0.7 Released

Well, I didn't do two yesterday and chances of doing a second today are probably slim, so I just piled them all on here :)

From SilverlightCream.com:
Have I Missed The Bus?
While not necessarily Silverlight, Jesse Liberty responds to a common query on his blog, and is one similar to some I've done. Essentially, if you're a self-starter, you're driving the bus so you haven't missed it! If you're not... then find the resources because there are plenty as Jesse points out... [and thanks for the shout-out!]
Splash screens and Loaders in Silverlight
Alex Knight explores some custom loading and splash animations... and in xaml-only ... very cool stuff, and pay close attention to his notes inset on the page... lots of good info in those!
Silverlight Photo Explorer 1.0
Terence Tsang has been silent for a bit, but has returned with a venture to sell the code for this Photo Explorer. Try the demo page... it works very nice.
Using projection to build a 3D carousel in Silverlight 3
Gavin Wignall has a unique carousel up using the 3D Projection of Silverlight 3B, and I can see his apps now :) ... I like how he says "As always you can grab the code source here" ...
MVVM ‘light’ toolkit for WPF and Silverlight
Laurent Bugnion has been working on his MVVM 'Light' for a while and has the WPF version ready for prime time. Silverlight will follow in a couple days... give it a dance and see what you think!
An Early Look at Silverlight Model-View-ViewModel Toolkit 1
Michael Sync is working on an MVVM Toolkit for Silverlight and has some early bits to show, discussion and where he's headed, and asking for features we'd like plus collaboration if you want.
Silverlight: Product Maintenance Application ( Part 1 – Authentication, Roles and Logging In )
Mike Taulty took off in a hurry or else waited to dump all these on us.. he has a series of 6 parts on building a complete application using Silverlight 3B, WPF, and not to forget good ol' .NET! Part 2: Silverlight: Product Maintenance Application ( Part 2 – Building some web services ), Part 3: Silverlight: Product Maintenance Application ( Part 3 – Getting some data ), Part 4: Silverlight: Product Maintenance Application ( Part 4 – Adding some controls ), Part 5: Silverlight: Product Maintenance Application ( Part 5 – Running the app and thinking about WPF ), and Part 6: Silverlight: Product Maintenance Application ( Part 6 – Porting to WPF )... wow :)
Silverlight 3 – Split image in to tiles and show in 3d space
The Knight brothers hit two spots today :) Jordan Knight has a very cool image demo that splits an image of your choice up into tiles and then puts them into a 3D space view ... interesting, and I wasn't sure all the soldiers and all the men would put it back together, but hey... it did :)

Stay in the 'Light!
