In this Issue: Peter Bromberg, David Poll, Jose Fajardo, Terence Tsang, and David Anson.
From SilverlightCream.com: - Silverlight 3 RIA Services: DataForm, Validation
- Peter Bromberg digs into Validation and Navigation for us and is very code-heavy on a great article/explanation of a a Silverlight app using both those concepts.
- Logging Navigation in the Silverlight 3 Beta
- David Poll is also looking at Navigation, but at the same time is trying out ways to get logging and statistics for deep links... and succeeding!
- CoverFlow – built using Silverlight 3's 'Projection' feature
- Jose Fajardo is finding more time to be back to what we all know and love him for... cool samples and demos :) ... his latest is CoverFlow ... an album cover menu sort-of with the covers tilted back ... very cool effect and it works great! ... oh, and tons of info and code too!
- Flash vs Silverlight: Image Slide Show using Perspective 3D
- Terence Tsang is back and is doing a cool Perspective 3D ... prior to looking at it, I was thinking it was going to be something like Jose's, but it's more a 'cube' rotating, but then zooming to fill the window, then contracting back out... pretty clever and fun to watch.
- Pineapple upside-down chart [How to: Invert the axis of a chart for "smaller is better" scenarios]
- David Anson demonstrates not only flipping an axis on a chart, but mixing together some other magic also makes the indices on the axis look good as well.
Stay in the 'Light!
