In this Issue: Rich Griffin, Mike Taulty, Fons Sonnemans, and Jordan Knight.

Shoutouts:

In the on-going "Is Silverlight ready for business" series at SilverlightShow, Ken Azuma responds

I found this link to DeepZoomPix 'technology demonstration' that I thought was pretty cool: DeepZoomPix

From SilverlightCream.com:
Silverlight 3.0 - 3D Flip Action using Plane Projection
Rich Griffin sent me this link this morning... he's created a 3D Flip Action that can be applied to any UI Element ... for now only on the Y axis, but hey... do you expect EVERYTHING :)
Silverlight 3 and GPU Acceleration
Mike Taulty digs into GPU acceleration and reports back on what he's learning... all good info!
Playing with Silverlight 3D Perspective
Fons Sonnemans has a demo (with code) of a 3D rotation of the time. I can't think of a practical use, but it's pretty sweet! and uses some fun new concepts, so check out the code.
Silverlight control that can play animations when the DataContext changes
Jordan Knight has a cool demo up of what he's talking about here. Gotta admit I hadn't thought of animation on DataContext changes. Now I wonder can I use that on my music app I'm dorking around with :)

Stay in the 'Light!
