StirTrek
Stir Trek is an opportunity to learn about the key announcements from the Mix 09 conference, at a location that is a little closer to home (if you live in Ohio or will be there on May 8, 2009), and in the comfort of a movie theater. There will be 10 sessions, in two tracks, so you'll be able to pick the content that interests you the most. In addition, the day will include lunch, a raffle with some significant prizes, and a private screening of the new Star Trek movie, which opens in theaters the day of this event.
I talked to Matt Casto about this at #MIX09 and it sounds like a lot of fun... if you're in the area on May 8, 2009, attend and let me know how it went :)

Mashooo S Prize Contest
If you're building casual games in Silverlight, you probably know about Mashooo. If you don't, you should! Even if you're interested in playing casual games with Silverlight you should check them out ... so that just about covers everyone, right?? :)
SilverlightGirl and James Bacon are putting on a no-hold-barred world-wide contest at Mashooo. They've got a ton of prizes to give away and there's a bunch of time remaining.
