First, sorry Bill Reiss, but you've got company out there with 4 more Silverlight MVPs (so far) ... my buddy Michael Washington, Daron Yondem, Jose Fajardo, and Michael Sync ... congratulations guys!!! I'm on record as being officially jealous :) ... and I'll have to change my signature block now! You can see the list on the MVP Awardees Site.

Koen Zwikstra exposed a hint of what he's been working on ... a "Document Toolkit" for Silverlight 2 and 3 ... and this is seriously cool... but hey what would you expect??? check out his demo Announcement: Document Toolkit for Silverlight... awesome, Koen!

Silverlight Dependency Property Code Generation
Colin Eberhardt prompted me on this one that I hadn't seen yet... and holy crap ... let's see... are you familiar with T4 templates yet? no? well you will be once you get on the outside of this article... great stuff Colin, thanks!
Open Source software at Microsoft - Justin Angel and Shawn Burke
Eric Mork sent me a link to the latest Sparkling Client PodCast where Justin Angel and Shawn Burke hold forth... what a duo! ... and talking about Open Source at Microsoft yet ...
Silverlight 3: Navigation Application Template Extra themes posted!
Brad Abrams talks about the new Navigation Application Template ... have you tried that? ... very nice! ... he has a link to his MIX session and also Corrina's where she gives up a couple more templates... did you miss that those were there for the taking??... bet that made you go look :)
Implementing a Silverlight based ‘Vertical’ tickertape
Paul Chapman had a need for a Vertical ticker. I tried a horizontal one in SL1 and had some text issues, so I'd like to have seen a demo, but he's definitely got all the code laid out, so give it a shot!
Bitmap Caching in Silverlight 3
Page Brooks shows us what's all up with Bitmap Caching in the beta... and has some diagrams for those of us that need more assistance :) ... and discusses some additions/gotchas.
How to Write Silverlight Design Time for All Designers: Visual Studio 2008, Blend 2; Blend 3, and Visual Studio 2010
Ning Zhang has a great post up showing the design-time extensibility beginning with Silverlight 2/Blend 2/Visual Studio 2008 up through Silverlight 3 Beta 1/Blend 3/VS2010 ... great detailed post.

Stay in the 'Light!
