From
SilverlightCream.com:
- Silverlight Design + Animation: Slides and Links
- Andy Beaulieu gave a presentation and is making all the materials available ... and we can get them as well.. can you say Animation, Games, and Physics Helper??
- Is Blend's Cost Prohibitive to Silverlight Adoption?
- Matt Casto poses a good question that I'm sure lots of people are going to weigh in on ... the cost of Blend!
- The Caliburn Beta is Live
- Rob Eisernberg gets the prize... I pooted his name probably on twitter too and can't change it in the database until tonight. On the plus side, his name is the snurl address of his post... sorry Rob... check out his Beta of Caliburn, particularly if you're doing a LOB app. He has put a bunch of time and energy into this and it shows!
- Showing and Hiding Series in Chart
- Lee has another very cool enhancement for the charts up ... this one allowing the user to selectively drop a series out of the display ... wow... that's useful!
- Guitar Chords and Silverlight
- John Papa's Guitar Chords program is live and you can go play with it, or play along with it, if you're an Ax man!
- DeepZoom Training Videos
- Arturo Toledo comes back after yesterday's notice of videos for learning Design, and today has a batch up on DeepZoom!
- Deep Zoom Collections explained Part 1 - coordinates and viewports
- Lutz Gerhard responds to questions with part 1 of a series explaining the DeepZoom composer and "what the heck are the coordinates and viewports?"... nicely detailed, and helpful, thanks!
- What I Use for Silverlight Development
- Pete Brown follows suit with Shawn and John and details what he uses to build Silverlight ... now who's next :)
- Silverlight Rain Effect - Playing with Random
- Working my way back through Gavin Wignall's posts I found this cool 'rain' effect in Silverlight. This is a PITA in any graphic tool I've used (I'm not a Photoshop person), so having it this simply is very cool.
- attachedbindings for silverlight
- Karim Hernandez posted about a project he has on CodePlex called AttachedBindings ... check this out... it's a library for Silverlight developers, particularly those coming from WPF.
Stay in the 'Light!
