Silverlight Cream on Overload
As you all know, I’ve been at MIX09 this week, and when I checked my big list-o-blogsTM on Wednesday morning, I had about 50 tagged to blog. I was afraid to look at the list until now, and counting submittals and some non-SL3B posts, my list count is sitting at 117 – yikes! So what to do?? I kicked this around with a few folks at MIX, such as Pete Brown, CigDem, and Shawn Wildermuth, and I’ve decided that rather than try to post them by author or some other method, I’m going to try to group them ......

MIX09 Last Day and redux
My numbering of the days makes sense until I get too large a number, so I just said “Last Day” … :) I’m soooo bad with names and there’s so much people and information overload… I think I need to start doing what Jesse Liberty and Tim Heuer were doing, and that’s taking a picture of everyone they collected a business card from…. or take notes :) I realized after I posted earlier that I had spent some time waiting for that first event on Thursday night talking with Rob Burke. We had some great conversation ......

MIX09 Day 4
Yeah, yeah… I’m late… the farther I got into MIX the slower everything else became :) And I’m going to track the last two days just for me so I know where my time all went! I finally got to the Venetian about 9:30 on Thursday. I was kinda/sorta trying to decide if I just wanted to go to third place or Seema’s talk when I ran into Ivan from SilverlightShow and we had never really had ‘that talk’ we wanted to do. We did that, and I know I still left some open spaces in the continuum, but we’re trying ......

MIX09 Day 3
Wow… it’s at Day 3 that I usually start to fade fast, and this one’s no exception. Technorati Tags: MIX09 Waiting for the keynote sitting with John Papa, Frank LaVigne, Pete Brown, Page Brooks, Bryant Likes… woohoo! MIX09 Day 2
Really Day 1 for me, since I wasn’t in any of the workshops, but I won’t confuse that :) Up sort of late blogging, and woke up at 4:20 … couldn’t go back to sleep. I think maybe it was the ‘Light shining in my eyes :) So much goodness to be announced today! If you thought last year was good, this year will blow you away… I’m just sayin’… More than one person has written to me that they’ve found the new bits already online. I can’t blog about that here, but I’d say user beware… it may be new, it may ......

MIX09 Minus 1
MIX09 Minus 1 MIX07 was the first national conference I ever attended, and I felt like that kid from the sticks in NYC looking up at the buildings. Skimming the 'Cream
SilverlightCream has been running for about 18 months and has aggregated over 2900 articles in the database. Some developers have told me that they read SilverlightCream or my blog and don't bother trying to aggregate links anymore. That may or may not be a good idea because it's through the network of readers that I find lots of blogs that I end up following. While at the MVP Summit last week my room-mate, Michael Washington of Silverlight Desktop fame, was discussing possible enhancements to the ......
