If you're not (yet) excited about MIX09, maybe this will help!
Jeff Paries has been around Silverlight for a long time and animation for a lot longer.
He's the author of the book shown above, and will be Speaking at MIX09!!

If you want a glimpse into what is in Jeff's book, check out his blog (linked above), or do a search for his name at
SilverlightCream. He put out a lot of short videos to pump up the book prior to it's release.
If you want to take my word about it... this is another "must have" book for serious Silverlight developers. I mean how much are you going to be doing with Silverlight before you need to animate something?? And once you step into that hole, you may as well get help from an expert!
Jeff has over 200 projects in the 488 page book... and the code is all available, so you can play along as you read :)
The layout is very cool in that not only does Jeff have tutorial-style presentations, but they are in numbered steps so it makes it really simple to follow.
In my opinion, this is another of the "You can't go wrong" decisions, go become a "Friend of Ed" and Jeff's too :)
