Chris Anderson, Tim Heuer, Michael S. Scherotter, and Jonathan van de Veen.

Shoutout:

If you don't read Scott Guthrie's blog, shame on you :) ... he posted his latest aggregation today: Dec 2nd Links: ASP.NET, ASP.NET Dynamic Data, ASP.NET AJAX, ASP.NET MVC, Visual Studio, Silverlight/WPF .

From SilverlightCream.com:
Building a Silverlight Line-Of-Business Application – Part 4
Chris Anderson over at SilverlightShow put up the fourth part of his LOB series ... definitely a keeper.
Silverlight install experience best practices
Tim Heuer uses Netflix as a great install example ... give it a shot if you still have a machine without Silverlight on it like Tim had :)
An Interview with the Developer of a Silverlight 2 Ribbon Interface
Michael S. Scherotter had built a ribbon control in WPF/E, but gave up on SL2 when he saw the one he's blogging about... too cool!
Using the popup element in Silverlight
This is a bit older post from Jonathan van de Veen about the popup element... still good!

Stay in the 'Light!

DevTeach Montreal Day 1

I made the trip from Phoenix to Montreal yesterday with only a couple issues... our flight out of Phoenix was delayed 20 minutes so my 45 minutes between planes in Denver got tight. From wheels down to wheels up was exactly 30 minutes and that included switching concourses and almost giving me a stroke :)  Of course my bag-o-clothes did NOT make it, and as of 8am it has not yet, but Air Canada just told me on the phone that it was on it's way.

I packed one spare set of clothes in my laptop bag, thankfully.

The keynote is Ted Nweard talking on the next 5 years being about languages. This is a smaller conference than MIX by at least a third, but it has a more intimate feel I think, and that's a good thing since my first run-through shows me I need another run-through :)

More later, and hopefully my bag will be here by then!
