From
SilverlightCream.com:
- Foundation Silverlight 2 Animation
- Jeff Paries wrote that his book is out... how cool is that?? If all the videos he and Rob Houweling have posted aren't enough incentive for you, he has a chapter available to be read: Foundation Silverlight 2 Animation... and this is Simulating 3D in 2D ... fun stuff :) ... awesome job, Jeff!
- Another one on repacking XAPs to reduce filesize
- Not only did Rob Houweling write 'another' article on repacking XAP files, but he wrote a tool to do so, and explains how to link it into VS2008... very nice, Rob!
- PDC 2008 - Silverlight 2 Wrap-Up
- Bart Czernicki did a very nice job of posting a Silverlight wrap-up of PDC... information and links out to everything ... like a one-stop-shop.
- Renaming Xap to Zip is dead. Long live renaming Xap to Zip!
- Jeff Wilcox shows how to get your system to recognize XAP as ZIP ... but check out the comments also! Jeff also has a great article on Getting Expression Encoder 2 SP1’s media player template to work
- Using Styles to Define Silverlight 2 Control Templates
- Dan Wahlin follows up his Styling article with this one on templates ... not difficult to understand... check it out!
- Silverlight 2 Custom Stock Charts With Silverlight Toolkit
- Peter Bromberg took on the stock market as a way to investigate the Charting controls in the Toolkit ... came out very nice... and he supplies all the code, which is very nice too :)
- Menus, part III : animated multi-level drop-down menu
- Gerard Leblanc follows up his last menu post with this one animating the menus... they didn't animate for me the first time, so I was confused :) ... I went back to the previous, and then forward to this one and voila... there they are, and they expand out diagonally... pretty cool actually!
- My First Silverlight 2.0 Application Deployment Rodeo
- Dave Burke had problems deploying his Silverlight 2 app, and is sharing his troubles and solution with everyone... worth a look so that when you get bit, you'll know the answer. Hint... it has to do with Web Services.
Stay in the 'Light!
