Yes, I know this isn't Silverlight, but it's close!
I had given up for a bit trying to get the latest Silverlight installed on this machine. I thought maybe it was all the beta bits giving me a fit or who knows what.
Essentially I gave up, and just worked off my laptop, but I need to spend some concentrated time working on some things over the next few weeks and I'm just more comfortable doing that on the workstation.
So today, instead of being productive, I finally figured out what was going on. I now have all the new stuff installed and running just great.
Read what I had to go through to get to this point.
Maybe it'll save someone a few minutes of effort.
