Emil Stoychev a SilverlightShow reports that LinkLabel control is now live on CodePlex!. I posted about the control, but now it's on CodePlex, so go have at it... others already are!
From
SilverlightCream.com:
- 3D Graphics With Silverlight
- Matthieu Laban is into flight simulation and also real flying, and has, in his words, "used a modified version of Kit3D (added lighting) to display GPS tracks (in GPX file format) along with 3D terrain underneath all with Silverlight." You'll need to download a GPX file to get this to run, but he has a link to one on the page, and references more in the article.... fun stuff!
- Silverlight Books
- Denis sent me a link to his new site: SilverlightBooks.net, and after I looked at it, it's one of those... "hey, that's a great idea" moments. So you can go to SilverlightCream to find the latest blog entries and SilverlightBooks.net to find books... what more could you ask for :)
- Add mouse wheel support to ScrollViewer
- Tim Heuer extrapolates on the article I blogged about by Adam Cooper, just because so many people are wondering how to use that pesky mouse wheel.
- Custom Controls in Silverlight 2
- Koen Zwikstra had an article on Custom Controls in Silverlight 2 appear in the September, 2008 Dutch Microsoft .NET Magazine... and it will appear on MSDN soon. He has a link out to the code for the article, and a link to the article itself if you can read Dutch :) ... congrats on the article, Koen!
- Prevention : The first line of defense, with Attach Property Pixie dust!
- Manish Dalal has a very complete article on Attached Properties and using them in a TextBox filter... all part of his Building a Business Application with Silverlight Series.
- Silverlight vs Flash: Random Moving Rotator
- This is Terence Tsang's offering from yesterday, I'm one behind :( -- busy day yesterday... This is another in the 'Random Moving Rotator' series.
- Create a Snapshot of your data in Silverlight
- Jordan Knight resolves a problem we all have of trying to get the 'pretty' parts of the app working with real data but not wanting to actually be hitting the database or webservice all the time. And his solution is seriously cool... I think I'm going to use this as a backup for my DevTeach Montreal presentations
- Visual effects while displaying an image. Part III
- Gerard Leblanc comes back at part III of his Visual effects, and this time without using a timer.
Stay in the 'Light!
