From SilverlightCream.com:
Silverlight Data Grid - Introducing the DevExpress Grid (AgDataGrid)
Azret Botash of Devexpress has started a series on a Devexpress blog (watch this blog), discussing the new Datagrid they are offering for a free download. The posts have some write-up and then a video. This first post introduces the grid. The next one is on Silverlight DataGrid - Understanding Grid Column Types . This is followed by Silverlight DataGrid - Row Preview Feature of the data grid which intruduces templates with the grid. The next is on Silverlight DataGrid - How to perform custom summary calculations within the grid control using the 5 built-in aggregate functions. Next is Silverlight DataGrid - Creating custom column types for the grid control , such as check, or date columns, and finally a roll-up sort of application, Silverlight DataGrid - Where are my Facebook friends? where a very cool display of Facebook info is pulled into the grid very quickly! ... all good stuff... go get the grid and then do the videos... what else you going to do on Saturday... it's summer and it's hot :)
JSON serialization and deserialization in Silverlight
Martin Mihaylov has a very nice article up on JSON Serialization/deserialization in Silverlight ... and as usual, has a link out to external information... very nice!
Communication between UserControls
Lee is proving to be a man of few words, but his UserControls are communicating, so that makes up for it ... go check out the source!
Unity Application Block (Unity) for Silverlight and StopLight QuickStart
Ok so I haden't heard of Unity prior to Michael's post... there was Trinity in The Matrix, but that's something different :) ... if you don't know what it is either, Michael has a bunch of reference links on the bottom of the post for us dullards :)
Animation Hands On lab for Silverlight 2
Adam Kinney posted about a new Animation Hands-on Lab that he says is better than the one at MIX '08, so I'd say we should head on over there!
Green Eggs and Blend
Jesse Liberty channels Dr. Seuss for his post about his latest instructional video on Blend... I haven't watched this yet, but I'd say if it follows the quality of Jesse's other work, you should just go watch it now!
How about some LIVE Silverlight service debugging?
Tim Heuer is asking for opinions to be posted on his blog about a SL debugging idea he has... read his post and let him know your thoughts.
Embedding Fonts and File Upload in Silverlight 2
Tim also reports on a couple new videos on the Silverlight.net site about embedded fonts and file upload.

Stay in the 'Light!
