Silverlight Cream for July 09, 2008 -- #321

Rich Griffin on Control Skinning, Michael Washington with 3 posts about Silverlight Desktop, Joel Newbeck Talking between to SL objects, and Alex Knight on a workaround for VSM breaking XAML.

If you haven't seen this or done it before, MSDN Magazine has it's yearly post up for purchasing the previous year on DVD. Any destination worldwide, $9.95 for all 2000 through 2007 content and more. I'm due... I think my last one I bought was 2005, and it's great for searching... just have to remember you have it :) ... check out this and other offers on the MSDN Magazine 2007 Archive DVD site.

A new version of SilverlightDesktop.net has been released (01.20.00)
Michael Washington has been busy, and has released a new Silverlght Desktop that includes some of the features he blogged about recently. He also has a post about Creating A "Hello World!" module, and finally A good article on other "Online Desktop's" ... all great info!
Communicating between two Silverlight objects on a single page
Joel Neubeck describes how he came across the idea for this, and I'm guessing we haven't seen the end of it, but he demonstrates talking between two SL objects on the same page ... you know you want to do that!
VSM breaking the XAML - Silverlight 2 issue and workaround.
Alex Knight came across a problem using VSM giving his XAML fits, and he describes the problem and a workaround...

about "Communicating between two Silverlight objects on a single page ", since it introduced HTMLPage, it should be able to directly get the other sl object through HTMLPage, right?
