If I understand NDA's correctly, if I were in a beta program, I couldn't tell you.
So... that being said, I've seen a download linkĀ for the SL2B2 chainer on someone's site this morning. My thought on that is user beware, I don't care what site it's located on. Who knows, it might be the release candidate, or it could be a few days old and someone forgot to remove it, and some enterprising person found it.
There's plenty to read in the docs that apparently ARE released, and Tim, Jesse, and others are posting lots of material to keep us all busy and happy until such time that the REAL B2 hits.
In all honesty, I haveĀ 6 blogs open that I refresh now and again in this regard: Scott Guthrie, Tim Sneath, Somasegar, Tim Heuer, Jesse Liberty, and Adam Kinney. I'm expecting the announcement to come from one of the them first... but hey, I've been surprised before :)
I'll also point out that Tim Heuer, Jesse, and Adam at least are on Twitter (maybe all are), and Jesse has his SLMicroBlog at Twitter... so if you're not on twitter, or not following them, you might miss the first announcement because Twitter would just be *way* too easy to fire off before launching a blog post.
Until then, THIS is my advice.
Stay in the 'Light!
