We had our meeting tonight at Interface technical training and had the usual assortment of Rock Stars: Simon Allardice, Dan Wahlin, Steele Price, and Spke Xavier. The band leader, Michael Palermo used the lame excuse of being out of town :) And from what I can tell from Twitter, Tim Heuer is in Mexico City, so didn't make it either. I hope he's avoiding the local water as much as he was avoiding us :)
Simon gave his great Code Camp presentation, and about half of the 16 listeners had not heard it before. It seemed that just a few less than that admitted to not having done anything with Silverlight, and there were quite a few new faces, so that's always fun.
Good discussion before and after pizza and Simon got everyone organized enough to throw some ideas on the board of what we might like to cover or what could be covered next time. If memory serves me correctly, we're gong to have two short (~30 min) sessions. One on styling/skinning and one on data binding.
I, for one, and looking forward to Spike joining the twitterverse, so I guess we'll all have to stay tuned for that.
It was a good evening, and good time meeting folks I generally only see once a month such as Brian and Scott.
