ChrishayUK on Isolated Storage, Page Brooks with a Color Picker, AdamJTP with a Lightbox, Jaime Rodriguez with a Viewbox, Jonas Folles on Interactive Video, Bob Familiar on SL2 RIA, Christoph Husse with SL2 Rich Text Editor, and Ineir with a WrapPanel.
Lots of goodness... controls today... Lightbox, ViewBox, WrapPanel and holy crap... a Rich Text Editor... not to count other ineresting articles, read on...
From SilverlightCream.com:
- Isolated Storage (Quota.dat)
- ChrishayUK digs into Isolated Storage, literally! ... down far enough to find exactly where the quota value is stored...
- Building a Silverlight Color Picker Control - Part 3
- Page Brooks ... now someone explain to me why I haven't been pointed at Page's blog before.. huh?... this is a seriously nice color picker ... makes the one I did in SL 1.0 look silly! ... I'll be watching Page's blog for more goodness.
- Silverlight 2 lightbox
- I talked about TeamLive the other day... I still think it looks like a good idea for collaboration. If you don't know what a pageblanket and lightbox are... this will be fun to check out.. oh... and the source is included... no excuses for not using it :)
- Viewbox for Silverlight2
- From Lightbox to Viewbox... a ViewBox is a WPF thing, and Jaime has banged one together in SL2 for us. Not much write-up, but the code is there with an example... and it works just fine!
- Interactive video using Silverlight
- Jonas Folles is an RD from Melbourne, or at least that's the impression I got from his blog. I'm looking at his picture and trying to remember seeing him at the summit since we were probably in sessions together, but geez... I'm drawing a blank, but hey, I'm an old guy... that's ok :) .. oh yeah, back to Jonas... he did a Code Camp presentation on interactive video apps with script commands encoded into the video, and has all the code downloadable.
- Silverlight 2.0 and Rich Internet Applications
- Tim Heuer blogged about Bob Familiar that from all appearances is going to end up covering pretty much all of Silverlight during his adventure into SL2 RIAs... definitely a series to read!
- Silverlight: The First Rich Text Editor
- Christopher Husse took over Michael Sync's blog today and posted up a Rich Text Editor ... yikes... this is impressive... maybe I'll just stick to blogging :) ... great job, Christopher, and oh yeah... the code's available!
- WrapPanel for Silverlight 2.0
- Rounding out the controls offerings for today is a Wrap Panel from Ineir ... we have one from Robby Ingebretsen that is in one of the MIX downloads... but now we have another to compare and play with... it's the kind of thing that you can never have too many of :)
Stay in the 'Light!
