Silverlight Cream for April 9, 2008 -- #248

Nikolay Raychev Posted about using some SL2 controls: Layout in General, then Canvas, Grid, and StackPanel, Tim Heuer posted materials for a presentation in Anaheim and another Cross Domain article, A One-page set of links to ALL SL Videos from MIX, and David Anson updated his XPSViewer.

Layout controls in Silverlight 2 Beta 1
Nikolay Raychev of SilverlightShow submitted links to me for three very nice detailed tutorials on some of the fundamental controls in SL2. This first is an introduction.
Using the Canvas control in Silverlight 2 Beta 1
Nikolay's second article covers the Canvas... surprising amount of detail given that we all should be familiar with the Canvas :)
Using the Grid control in Silverlight 2 Beta 1
Nikolay's Third one is on the Grid Control.
Using the StackPanel control in Silverlight 2 Beta 1
Looking at the Layout article by Nikolay, I found he also has one on the StackPanel, and couldn't pass that one up ... Keep 'em coming, Nikolay!!
Anaheim Silverlight presentation
Tim Heuer apparently gave a presentation in Anaheim and has posted all the materials that came out of that... has to be a good working example in that mix :)
Cross domain in Silverlight Streaming
In this one, Tim takes a shot at answering some questions by discussion Silverlight Streaming and Cross Domain policies... lots of goodness!

Some kind soul at Silverlight.net has put together this page with all the SL Presentations at MIX '08 in one place!

Thanks to Jaime Rodriguez for finally breaking loose with a real name for "Delay" :) David Anson updated his XPS reader to SL2 and it is delivered with source... so have a ball :)
