Mix '08 - End of Day 1
Survived an entire day... wow, and that's really only half a day's worth of sessions because of the keynote. Attended a good session right after lunch (coke and cookies) about connecting up to data with SL2. It was a tad intense just watching, lots of ws and hand waving... I'll get more out of it when I see it offline and have the code. Funny about the lunch though... since I went straight to the end of the 4th floor and logged in, I got a great connection right up until everyone got out of lunch ......

MIX '08 Keynote
Seems silly to even b log about it, since not only could you watch it streamed, but it's undoubtedly available for d/l or watching right now, but I'll highlight some things I thought were interesting to me (like THAT's new).. :) Not sure why I didn't think of it, but the Olympics is going to be doing Picture-in-Picture. Now that could get annoying for an app, but for a demo or tutorial... that could have very cool aspects, and dang... how hard is that?? Note to self to take a look at WebSlices in ......

Well I made it safe and sound.... took a wrong turn about a half a block from my 'no-tell motel' and took me a half-hour to find my way back :(

At the Venetian, all registered up, going to go find a place to plug in my laptop and try to get something accomplished.
