Silverlight Cream for February 14, 2008 -- #198

Jesse Liberty takes a few shots at answering some SL2.0 questions, at least with things he's At Liberty™ to talk about -- I liked that, Jesse!, and Michael Scherotter sent me a link to a while bunch of stuff: Zune Video Podcast series on Journaling, his page turn code that is slightly different from the others, and a Typeface he is making available for Silverlight.

From SilverlightCream.com, where we now have 501 entries in the database!
Tip of the Day: How To Answer: Will This Work In Silverlight 2.0?
Jesse Liberty takes some time to answer some questions about how things might work in 2.0, and tries to answer without 'giving up the farm' so to speak :)
Adapted Page Turn Sample for my Journals
Michael Scherotter is a "Journaler"... that's right... paper, you know the stuff they make from trees? He apparently has a LOT of them from over the years and he is taking on the huge effort of not only making some of that material available via Silverlight, but he is also doing a series of Zune Video podcasts detailing his Journaling in general. I think that's right :) ... it took me a while to figure out how many directions I was pointing in from the links he sent me! ... The page turn app is a twist on the Silverlight.net one, has source and works very nicely btw, and if you dig deeper into his Journaling blog post, you'll find he has also created a Typeface that he has available for download, with Silverlight instructions... so a whole bunch of stuff rolled into one entry here... thanks Michael!

Stay in the 'Light!
