Site problems with blog bling
Nobody reported anything to me, but I had a couple problems yesterday around lunch that my site navigation threw an error saying it could not go to the page. I refreshed and it cleared up, so I figured it was local traffic or something. Last night I wanted to make an underlying change to a page, and after I uploaded, I was having severe problems of the same sort. Last night's change wouldn't even be in play unless I was on the page I had worked on, so I started thinking about what I had added on ......

Code in OutlookBar Article repaired -- naming only
Michael Washington reported to me this morning that the code in my Silverlight 1.0 OutlookBar Control article was throwing errors. I barely looked at it and realized it was an interaction with the sidebar code. Just like last spring when I did the MIX countdown timer, I had stupidly put the same code in the artile as in the MasterPage. The JavaScript and the XAML in that article have not changed, it's all good. What I did change was the JS and XAML that's executing in that page, and the only changes ......

'OutlookBar' style SL 1.0 Control added to WynApse.com MasterPage
I don't have this written up on the site yet, and after trying to navigate around from the office, maybe I don't have a complete solution but... I spent most of the weekend putting ASP.NET Ajax into WynApse.com, adding a Web Service to my database, and replaced all the links on the right-hand sidebar of my MasterPage with the Silverlight 1.0 OutlookBar control I demo'd at Desert CodeCamp III about a month ago.
