The first day of Desert Code Camp III was today, and as with the other two Code Camps we've had, in my opinion, it was a rousing success!
Great presenters giving great presentation. Thanks to Lorin and Scott, and all the volunteers and presenters!
There were not many empty seats in the auditorium for my Basic Silverlight presentation, and somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 admitted to never having run Silverlight, so the material was on the mark for them.
I'm jammed on time right now, so I don't have an article to go along with the materials to explain eveything yet.. but I wanted to get the materials out to the folks that were there.
I've placed a zip of the folder I presented from on my website: DesertCodeCapIIIBasicSilverlight.zip.
Thanks to everyone that attended my talk, I'll have an article up with executable on my site early this week, and I'll blog it here so you know.
Thanks to Dan Wahlin for a great Advanced Silverlight 1.0 presentation. I really liked that everything Dan did was also in 1.0
As usual Michael Palermo was awesome. If you get a chance to see him speak, do so. The energy he brings to a presentation is unstoppable. I'd go see him present the phone book :)
Stay in the 'Light!
