Honestly, if I hadn't had to chase this one down, I'd have figured it was a very nerdy joke.
Customer sent email saying a report was not displaying correctly. Emails and tests back and forth eventually resulting in figuring out a field was set that should have led to another table being populated, but it was not.
But then wait... the data is there, but in a totally different field! .. one that on the entry form is just above the correct one.
More conversation with the operator reveals that the form was 'broken', and instead of reporting a problem, the data was entered in the field just above so it 'could be seen as entered'.
Sure enough, you could see it, but it didn't do a whole lot for queries....sigh... and it wasn't broken, it just wasn't user-friendly enough (until today)
