Test Email from blogmailr

If this works, I'll detail out how to set it up.

Very cool... they got .Text working last night apparently.

Go into  "Add a Blog", for the web address, type http://geekswithblogs.net/ and then enter your login and password.

Press "Find My Blog"

It wll come back saying it can't find it, and now has a dropdown for "Blogging software" with "Custom" selected, and a textbox for "Web service endpoint".

Using the information for Windows Live Writer from Julian on the geekswithblogs site, enter:

http://www.geekswithblogs.net/<YOUR_BLOG_NAME>/services/metablogapi.aspx

and press "Find My Blog" again, and it's ready to go!

It will post with no Category checked, but that's a minor thing to change when you're next able to do so.

CodeGuru Article on producing Atom XML Feed

I'm not sure why I just got this today, but in an article from October 6, Eric Smith displayed a very concise method of building an Atom feed from a database.

This isn't exactly what I've been trying to do, but it might be the second half, assuming I can read the feed into the StringBuilder to begin with... definitely worth a try, and why didn't I think of writing it out like this before?
