Even though I have given up the Mobile 5 device (aka the C600 from Orange) and gone over to the "Dark Side" (BlackBerry) I find it somewhat funny that I still have the C600 sitting in my office draw at work - for some reason I can't bring myself to get rid of it on eBay....?
So today I think I have found a reason to be strong and give it up to eBay, the new HTC s710. I have always liked the idea and feel of a standard handset when you just need the Phone - but there's no denying the convience of a decent "sideways" Qwerty keyboard for when you want to use text or messaging functions. Of particular note is the magnificently small format and size this is.
I must say that I do prefer the MS Green livery rather than the Orange versions

3GSM: Orange SPV E650 Hands-on
14 Feb 2007 (Gears)
Arne over at the theUnwired is down at 3GSM and has managed to get a hands-on with the Orange SPV E650 / HTC s710. This is one phone we're really looking forward to - the combination of both QWERTY and numeric keyboard sounds like a winner plus it looks tiny too.
With landscape and portrait screen rotation plus Windows Mobile 6 there's also Windows Live. Orange have added their own custom homescreen and they'll be rolling it out across their European markets in the first half of this year as part of the "Signature" range.
