Submit Direct Limitation

You can't call submit direct api from an orchestration; meaning you can't send message from orchestration directly to MessageBox Database using SubmitDirect adapter APIs

The error message you'll get is

“ The Messaging Engine failed to register the adapter for \"Submit\" for ...“

Workaround?

1. Call a function written in a web service which calls submit direct APIs

2. Consider using Direct binding i.e partner ports

Hi Vishal,

I'm Currenlty working in creating Custom SubmitDirect Adapter for BTS 2006 having the BTS 2004 SDK sample as Base. Can you please provide me an document for why the adapter is being used and the possibilities and advantages of SubmitDirect Adapater
