After searching for several days for a good , easy & intuitive ORM tool I've found Active Record.

Active record was suggested to me by Dror Engel after i asked him if he has an experience will the Nhibernate configuration.

Anyway to make a short story long (or the other way around) I've made my first steps with Active record and liked it , it's easy & intuitive  , i also googled a code template for MyGeneration that with a slight modification can be used as a quick start to generate the base classes which will be extended later on.

Also i wanted to mention that one of my decisions to start looking into this technology is the support from Ayende Rahien &  Ken Egozi.

So i'll be posting more of Active record ....

P.S - i also conviced my boss to develope our next project using AR , Hope it will all go well and then we'll have a reason to replace our Stored Procedure based DAL

If you haven't run across it already give Gentle.NET a look:

The power to you Tzvi!

I've had some experience with NHibernate (ActiveRecord is built on top of that) and liked it. From what I've seen of ActiveRecord, it's an excellent ORM option.

I would have liked very much to use ActiveRecord with my current project but my team is sold on a SP based DAL and changing that is a hard sell :).

Good luck then :)

@robert
Thanks for the suggestion I'll check it out though my mind is currently set on digging into AR and understanding its full capabilities and downsides
