Are you tired of using a manual checklist to create new desktop images? Would you like to find a way to reduce desktop imaging and deployment costs while implementing best practices?

In this FREE 90-minute webcast, Microsoft Consulting Services and Virteva will share their desktop deployment processes and methodologies as well as lessons learned, covering the following topics.

1. Best Practices and Lessons Learned Performing OS Deployments
This session will use real world experiences, resolutions, and best practices to highlight the "best" process for implementing an automated deployment system. We will describe this Microsoft Planning Service, which is used to develop a high-level plan and business case analysis for desktop deployments, including the methodology, deliverables, and benefits. DDPS can be utilized by any Microsoft customer and can also be paid for with vouchers from customers that have Microsoft Software Assurance benefits.

3. Microsoft Consulting Service’s Desktop Optimization through Vista and Office (DOVO) Process Overview
With Microsoft’s DOVO offering, you get prescriptive guidance to help choose and deliver the best deployment method and tools for common scenarios; perform attended and unattended installations; automate the deployment process, control policy and profile settings for desktop operating systems and applications; automate deployments for Office and other programs; and more.
