Today, more than ever, effective communication skills are the key to personal and professional growth.
TechMasters is a new Toastmasters chapter in Twin Cities, dedicated to helping technology professionals improve their skills in:
- Public speaking
- Making Presentations
- Communicating with non-technical people
- Impromptu speaking skills
Techmasters provides a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self confidence and personal growth.
Have you ever been asked to give a presentation on a technical topic? You know you are the expert on the subject matter, but you were hesitant to get in front of a group?
TechMasters is just the group for you! Join this network of peers to help build your presentation skills by practicing your speaking skills weekly. Each meeting will give participants the opportunity to speak, whether it be an impromptu speech or a prepared speech.
Each week, we rotate the meeting roles among the group to practice prepared and impromptu speaking in a friendly and supportive environment.
We meet every Tuesday morning from 7:30AM - 9:00 AM at the
New Horizons of Minnesota in Edina.
